    Turning a posterior bubba

    Hi,

Our first bub is due to arrive any day now (from next week onwards - don't really have a due date).

We're having a home birth, but I've been told that our bubs is currently posterior.
Any advice on how to encourage them to turn? I'm doing the all-fours thing and have even tried "maternal pursuasion" (pushing them a bit when they're active).

Our bub is quite active so I don't feel they've run out of space to move.

    Any suggestions would be great.

Check out www.spinningbabies.com for some more tips on how to turn bubs. My last two were both posterior and didn't move at all and both were born vaginally although they were hard births compared to my first two. Sometimes they can move during labour so all is not lost if he hasn't turned before labour starts. I also recommend having some Bowen therapy by a qualified Bowtech practicioner too. I had some done and I did have some moderate success with it, but he just moved back around to posterior after a day - I think he was just too settled in that position to stay in a better position for long.

There is also an article on here https://www.bellybelly.com.au/pregna...al-positioning that you should check out too.
