Confused please help

Hi everyone

I need some advice, if anyone out there has been in this position i would like to know how it turned out?
I had my 12 week scan + blood test with said i was a low risk for downs YAY!
BUT, i then had my 16 week blood test ( i think it is called a AFT or APT) i cant remember. Anyway it came back as 1:10,000 for spina bifida VERY GOOD. And came back as 1:200 for downs. My OB advised me to have an amnio as the levels of this particular hormone was very high. She said anything higher risk then 1:300 she thinks should have an amnio.... so i had one which went all ok and no probs after. But the 2 week wait is killing me I was wondering id anyone out there had odds similar to mine and ended up having a negative result on the amnio???
Or if you know anyone? I have prepared myself for the worst and i am sure i will handle it as i already love my baby so much and he will be perfect in my eyes
But there is still that little 1:200 doubt in my mind that he might have some trouble ahead of him and i would like to hear other stories. AND of course i know the odds are still good and my baby has a bigger chance of being ok, i just want to be prepared thats all. I have a bad habit of having to be prepared for everything lol. So any help will be appreciated
