Ok, I know these are just a part of pregnancy... but does anyone know what causes them, and why they happen in the calf muscles and at night mostly??

Cramping can be set off by potassium deficiency, see if eating a banana helps!

    Beautiful Adelaide!

Yep, it is to do with calcium/magnesium definciency: the baby takes it all from you!

I suffered shockingly in my pg with Olivia but my OB recommended a smoothie a day made from milk, Milo and a banana which gives a good kick of magnesium and calcium and I have this pretty much daily (I usually make it with Feel Good Iced coffee) and it is delish & this pregnancy have only had 1 cramp...........
