    Question Cramps-to worry or not?

Hi everyone! Hope you are all having a good day/night! Just a quick question, I know it would have been posted before somewhere but I couldn't find it. I have been having cramps for the last few weeks, they do not hurt but I can certainly feel them. They feel kind of like period pain but I only have one or two 'pulls' every few hours or so. As this is the fist time I am pregnant, I dont know if this is normal or not.. Any advice would be fantastic, I spoke to a nurse at my gp's office and she said it may be a sign of a miscarriage, so natually I am FREAKING!

By the way, I am nearly 11 weeks, thanks in advance!
    (need to adjust my ticker!)

It can just be your uterus expanding and shoving everything out the way I had cramps and bleeding (but not together) and bubs is fine. As long as u don't get bad cramps with bleeding should be ok but when in doubt always see ur dr.

Best of luck i hope everything is ok period pain cramps are quite common when everythings expanding and moving, the reason we gets cramps is the uterus is tryin to encourage the linning to shed, and now it's trying to spread out for a bubs. Let us know how you go

nurses should be shot when they scare people like that! from your description it sounds perfectly normal, please expect strange pains and twinges throughout your pregnancy, and please try not to stress too much.

When I first went with my first bleed the dr said i had miscarried and wanted to book me straight into the hospital to have "whatever was left" removed. I said couldnt it be implantation bleeding (the lovely ppl on bellybelly said it may have been before I went to my appointment) but he said it was too much to be implantation bleeding. I demanded a u/s and he said it was a waste of time and money and i needed to be hospitalised asap but I refused to go. Turns out it was just implantation/subchorionic bleeding and bubs was fine. So always get a 2nd opinion if u dont feel it's right there are some rotten ppl out there in all professions
