thread: Craving california rolls SO BAD!!!

    I always feel icky after eating Sushi when i'm pg, I think its okay... and then like 10min later I feel gross. Think its the rice.

    I prefer the seaweed on the outside too!
    I still haven't made mine yet.... the strong cravings I had when I made this thread, passed thank goodness!! Although I do still get envious of DH and DD when I see them eating sushi rolls.....Mmmmm I still should make some, I have all the stuff just have to buy the fresh ingredients!!

    Have you guys seen those sushi roller things you can buy? makes rolling them so much easier, what a great idea.

    Awww yummmmmyyyyy! Cali rolls are my favourite! I've been craving them all the time this pregnancy but can't have them anymore because of the GD

    Ive had huge sushi cravings this pregnancy too! Ive heard that its not only the raw seafood, but also the rice that can contain harmful Listeria as it has been cooked and then cooled down. I think if you want sushi so bad, do what i do and go to a sushi train restaurant where they are made fresh right in front of you rather than a take away place

    That has got to be better than the premade ones sitting in the window, but I'm still too paranoid for that. They still cook the rice well in advance and leave it sitting there cold. At least when you do it at home you know you made the rice fresh...
