Hi i have been a mad hungry jacks feind at the moment... but in the morning i need chocolate.. this morning i had a hot chocolate and i sliced up a mars bar and dipped it in the hot choc milk - OMG it was devine...................
Yesteday i had hot choccy, choccy donut, 2 tim tams and 1 montie carlo..... and i really cant help it i just have to eat it
why do you think i am craving all junk and nothing good.....
Hee Hee Hee,
dont feel bad, I polished off about 8 slice of Homemade lemon slice. Im eating a big bag of Burger rings before bed and about 3-4 toasted sandwhiches a day. I ate heaps of chocie with my son and craved savoury food with my girls.
I had Macca's last night and then woke up around 3:15am (which seems to becoming regular for a pee) but I had really, really bad wind pains. This morning I was a bit constipated, so no more macca's for me!
I only seem to feel sick when I need to eat, then I "graze" all day and then by dinner my upper tummy is too full and i feel sick because I've eaten too much.
I'm 9 weeks today and my tummy is HUGE in the afternoon's and getting really hard to hide at work!!!!
me too then i dont want my dinner , oncei have thrown it out i am starving and just go for the quik fix, heheheh chips, ice cream ..... it s like what ever food i think about i just think YEAH i want that.
HEHEHEEH... Im opposite cant think of anything worse then junk food or chocolate but i am hungry all the time but food makes me feel nausea.... We used to eat junk food on a friday or sat night but not anymore cant handle it... BIGGEST chocolate eater ever would eat chocolate everyday but not since two weeks ago....
I had the same craving during first tri with DS - Hungry Jacks! I ate it for dinner every night for a week.
I had such awful nausea I figured it was better I eat that than nothing. Your appetite will settle down again in a month or two, just eat whatever you need to to get through this time because it will pass
Hope you get over that soon, you cant have a chocolate free life forever. I love coffee and I must say cant drink more then half a cup per day now. URRGGGGG
I've had cravings for McDonalds & KFC (nuggets, chips and gravy) and hot chips. I never used to be a fan of these foods so I have no idea why I am craving them. I did start to get worried about weight gain, as normally if I ate these foods, I would put on weight in no time flat. I don't mind getting rid of baby weight but self-induced junk food weight gain is not something that I want to be on the treadmill for after the birth. I've promised myself that I'll try to get back to a size 10, then back to 8 but I realise I'll have bigger priorities, but I still won't forget about it. I've tried to cut down to one junk session a week. I think this is better for both bubba and me. Sorry to be a wet blanket!
With my last preg i had the biggest sweet tooth ever!!!! I knew i was having a girl purely from the constant chocolate cravings. I just couldn't get enough of the sweets...lollies, icecream.... I had a big piklets/pancakes with jam and cream stage too. I'm beginning to feel the same way this preg...mmmm wonder if it's another pink one But after eating all that junk i managed to only gain 5 kilos in the entire preg (baby weight and all) so i didn't feel too bad.
I craved salt and vinegar chips... actually chips of all kinds - twisties, burger rings, you name it. The great thing was that I was so over feeling nauseous and tired that if I ate these things I actually felt good! So I reckon it settles down.
I also really wanted fresh fruit and juice - still do. That can't be bad, right?!!
I have totally gotten into all sorts of junk food while I've been pg - I think I like the salty stuff particularly - hot chips and scallops, KFC burgers... That Colonel really knew what he was doing with those herbs and spices!
I'm sure I shall be cursing that same Colonel when I'm walking every day with bub in the pram trying to make up for all my bingeing!
I also remember watching that Supersize Me doco when i was preg and instead of being repulsed by Maccas i insisted DH pick up a large McCHicken meal for dinner - lol!!!!!
That's what my DH and I were watching last night. My DH goes, I know this is bad but how about macca's for dinner, and I was like, yeah cool!
But I paid for it big time through the night!!!
Girls, what ever you like normally, you tend to hate when pregnant. I'm normally not a sweet tooth but when pregnant with Patrick and this little one I am really into to sweet things.
I think it's that metallic taste in my mouth. I can't stand coffee at the moment, not from the smell (like the last 2 pregs) but just the taste, it's soooo bitter!!!
Love my cuppa's of tea, and I find that they are helping my tummy settle much better this pregnancy. This has been the least sick I've been in all 3. Just feel sick when really hungry which I think are all the juices gurgling away!!!!
I do think trying to cut down on the junk is a really good thing because after you've had bubba, and to some of you, that's seems like a long way off, it's VERY hard to get the weight off. I bought an exercise bike after Patrick was about 5 months old and that did the trick, but no amount of walking before that shifted anything, and that can really add to your depression levels!!!!!!!!! It was the biggest I've ever been.
LOL I had cravings for McChicken burgers and Hungry Jacks during the 1st tri too. Oh and KFC mashed potato & gravy. My thing atm is 2 minute noodles with chilli sauce and a squeeze of lemon.
