My third daughter had a cystic hygroma at 20 weeks. I won't lie and say everything was fine as she had a pleural effusion at 28 weeks (fluid in the lungs, our story is in the medical condition thread), but it was treated and she stayed baking till 36 weeks. She's about to turn 2 in about 2 weeks. So everything turned out ok in the end.
sending prayers and strength.
I really hope everything will be ok with your bub.
My friends bub had this however she also had multiple other problems including a very severe diaphragmatic hernia. Her lungs were unable to develop normally for them to believe surgery was going to be a success. She choose to end her pregnancy as the chances of her baby surviving were extremely low. I believe although the hygroma made up the bigger picture in the end it was the hernia and basically no hope of survival that aided their decision. I do remember her NT measurement was 6.1.
