On Tuesday 20th March, from 7 till 9 pm, the wonderful Pete Gailey will lead a discussion on Dads At Birth. We'd love you to join us.

The focus is on the men, this time, and we've arranged several of them to talk about different aspects of pregnancy, birth and early parenthood, as well as drawing on Pete's expertise as a father, childbirth educator, attendant at births, and leader of father's groups. Men and women are both more than welcome (with or without babies). This will be a great one for the dads-in-waiting to learn some support tips from old hands, and a brilliant chance for already-dads to reflect on the experience of supporting a woman through birth, share their stories, and connect with other dads.

There'll also be a birth story, a cuppa-and-chat break, and the chance to meet the many midwives, doulas, and associated birth professionals who attend our meetings and support our fledgling group. Please join us. All welcome.

Location: Room 2, Level 2, The Mill Hill Centre, 31-33 Spring Street, Bondi Junction. (We can't charge you to attend or the room hire cost goes up steeply, but your $10 donation ($5 concession) will be extremely helpful in ensuring the ongoing viability of the support group. Includes tea and snacks.)

Upcoming dates for your diary (both topics TBC, but dates are certain) Friday 4 May, 10am - Hands Can Talk - baby sign language - bookings essential, and a cost TBC, of around $30, to pay a specialist sign language educator to run the 3-hour course. To book, please email me.

Tuesday 12 June, 7-9pm - probably Siblings At Birth with Jo Hunter showing her great DVD and leading discussion.

Please forward this message to others who may be interested. Hope to see you on the 20th.

Kind regards
