lol.. all so funny the things we do!
i almost set our kitchen (newly renovated i might add) on fire, dh was away for the weekend and i had decided to make myself a jacket potato so i put it in the microwave for a minute - wrong i - pushed the 30min button, walked away and totally forgot about it... the potato and microwave caught on fire! the house filled with toxic smoke before i ever noticed!! luckily i realised before the whole thing went up! who new a potato could do so much damage?!? the cupboards were almost ruined from the somke and we had to get a new microwave.. needless to say dh said i needed constant supervision from then on! lol!

Well I have actually done this a few times (more then I would like to admit). We were down town on saturday at the food court getting lunch. I went and ordered mine gave the person a $20 note and then taken my food and sat down and ate it. It wasn't until DH asked for the change so he could get his lunch that I realised i hadn't stayed to get any. Lucky when I went back the man serving me remembered me and had it ready waiting.

I have done this ssooo many times, even asking to get extra money out on eftpos and then forgetting to take the money - just walking off without it.

A few weeks ago I went food shopping first thing in the morning with DD. When we got home, a girlfriend popped in for a cuppa and while sitting on the bar stools I kicked my shoes off. A little while later I noticed DD was clopping about in my shoes.. two different ones.. I looked down... yep, I had worn two totally different shoes to the shops, one wedge and one heel ha ha.. both very comfy and my excuse is well I cant see my feet. I thought maybe the chick in the chemist noticed coz she asked me if I had been suffering insomnia and I thought gee I wonder how she knows LOL

I have one to add now...I missed my acupuncture appt this morning... looked at the time on the card & thought 'Friday afternoon, that's weird, I could have sworn I made it for Friday morning?'....
Looked at it again just now....I had been looking at Tuesday's appt time, which I cancelled...it was this morning after all.. now I have to wait until Monday
and it said TUESDAY in big letters too....

I came home one day, put down my bag, then five mins later went looking for it. Then another ten mins later i was yelling at Dp cause i thought he'd stolen my bag and hidden it to mess with me. Then another three mins later i was in tears cause i couldn't remember what colour my bag was, or what it looked like.... How i managed to forget what a fire engine red bag looks like is beyond me.

A week or two ago i tried washing the clothes in the sink and putting the plates into the washing machine (thank god i didn't turn the thing on!)

I've done a few daft things - but can't remember what they are. It must be catching though 'cause DH put the vegimite in the fridge & the marg in the cupboard this morning (and didn't think to blame me - 'cause I would have had to think if it was me, even though I hadn't been in the kitchen.)

I call the cats DS's name and vice versa. Don't think thats pregnancy though 'cause its been happening for nearly three years. When he was 3 months I forgot his name at the inital mother's group meet. "I'm Ange & this is my 3 m.o. ......"

However, I had to fill in a tax dec at work and I can remember my TFN off the top of my head.

Well this wasn't really me, but a woman I was talking to yesterday while doing a tour of the maernity ward. I was talking to another very pg woman, I was holding DS and DD was standing next to me. This woman said to me "Oh what beautiful kids, so is this your first you are having?"
