Its been 36 degrees here today, I AM DYING!!! Usually in this kind of weather I whip out a denim mini and a singlet, but obviously I cant fit even one leg into it at the moment!! Has anyone spotted a maternity denim mini skirt on their travels that doesnt cost the whole earth?

There are a few around online, but the cheapest I have seen starts at $90 which is down right ridiculous. Might have to check out Big W & Kmart tomorrow

    check ]JCPenney

I got a pair of mini denim shorts with postage to Australia for like $43! Not sure if they have skirts but it's worth looking... they have heaps of maternity stuff and all the summer stuff is on sale considering they are going into winter!
Oh and I have been wearing boardies cause it's all the rage these days to wear the mini boardies with the elastic waistbands, so I just bought a bigger size and am wearing those! I am 32 weeks as well so not exactly small!

Do you sew? I bought a cheap denim skirt at an op shop and sewed a jersey band around the top. Did the trick!

I got some sarongs when I pregnant with S (born March). I just used to put on a pair of undies and then tie the sarong around above my boobs, so it hung down like a dress, reached to about mid-thigh. Lovely and airey... mind you, this was just at home Wouldn't have actually ventured to the shops with it on!

As for the mini skirt, can't help you there, my mini skirt days are over, whether I'm pregnant or not!!!

My sister has a maternity denim mini - it looked great with her big belly! I'm not sure where she got it from though, I would start with ebay and work from there.

I am pretty sure I saw one either at Big W or Kmart (visited both in the same shopping trip and now can't remember which it was!). Go girl!

    Thanks girls!

Salad I saw the fertile mind one, its gorgeous, but wayyyy above my budget.

Anyway I solved the problem. I bought a skirt a size up from my normal size, so it fits around the continually expanding hips and sits nicely under the bump
