I was a premmie so had that sort of odd premmie face and head shape...so no one looks like I did as a baby!

There is no mistaking that DD looks like I do now - even strangers comment on it - as Tattoo Mama put it "It looks like you had sex with yourself!" :-D

I am planning to soon return to my natural hair colour - which is identical to DD's (but she is already darker then I was at her age), so that willl make it worse!

The only way DD resembles DH is the way she shoves food into her face lol.

DS looked exactly like his daddy. I keep looking at photos of him and can't see anything of me in him. I know he's mine though - we've the birth photos to prove it

I've heard that babies look like their Dad so they bond with them more. Kind of a nature survival thing.

DS looked more like DH. DD looked like neither of us. If we had been separated at her birth, I would've been demanding DNA tests! lol

Yeah I've been told about the "spitting image of their father" for the few days/weeks because it went back to the cavemen times or something? If the baby looked like the man then they wouldn't walk out on their woman... so thats where it stems from.

Its true in the case for all my children - at BIRTH they were the spitting image of DH, now they pretty much all look like me.. LOL.. (poor buggers) Especially DD2, she's my spitting image of what I looked like as a baby.

Everyone says DD1 looks like me, but its just her eyes (they all got my brown eyes). When you see photo's of her & DH at the same age they are identical. I had people (his brother's family) pull me out in the street saying 'that's A's baby!' when they'd never met me! (They were both bald til they were 3 )

DD2 looks more like a mix of both our sisters & DS looks like a mix of DH, my dad & my brother.

DD3 looks more like DD1 & DS, but I'm hoping she's a brunette, coz DD2 might start to wonder, lol

When DS1 was born apparently my MIL said he was the spitting image of my BIL!!!
I was under so much medication I didnt really get to have a good look at him til the next day and by then he looked like hubby from nose upwards but me nose downwards because of his little bum chin lol! now looking at him nearly 2 years later he has my rounder face, my blue eyes, stumpy legs and great skin but he has hubbys ears and thats about it lol!
DS2 when born looked like me with the round face and again bum chin but he also has his dad's ears again but he also has his dads long body which is different to DS1.
MIL was happy to describe him as another BIL look alike stupid woman!

All my kids looked like their father at birth. Actually all 3 of them looked identical to each other at birth, I have a hard time trying to figure out which one is which in some photos.

My first born looks nothing like his father, he has always looked like a short haired version of me, however DD1 is identical to him.

DS2 who is to my DH (our first born together) looks loads like his Daddy and a little like me.
