    'Different' movements

I've been getting myself really nervous tonight. Bubs seems to have slowed down, the movements aren't as big as they've been in the past. For a while now it's been like a jumping castle on my front, my whole belly moves around. Tonight though, they're pretty small. There was nothing for ages, so I had a cold drink and concentrated and there have been small movements (we got to 10 at least) but it's just not the same.

Could it just be that she's turned around, facing the back now? That would explain why the movements are right on the edges of where I can feel. But should I be worried, should the movements be bigger?

    Hi!
I am on my iPhone so can't see how far along you are, but I found in te later stages, DD's movements changed to more like she was turning or moving, not big kicks or punches.
I put it down to the fact that she was running out of room so kicked less but rolled and moved instead.

As long as you are getting movements, I wouldn't worry too much. If the movements slow down heaps call your MW/OB

Thank you Mrs Bexie. DH took us to bed just after I posted, and little one must have been waiting for me to try to go to sleep! Suddenly there were jumps all over the place, she went nuts kicking DH in the back lol.

I'm 26w, so I'm not quite at the stage of feeling rolls and turns, but after DTD DH was stroking my belly and found a huge lump at the top that moved when he touched it lol. So I'm feeling very relieved, and just a little silly getting worried about it

Don't feel silly! I'm sure we all think the same thing at some point.

I hope the party that was in your belly didn't keep you awake too much!
