Don't worry oscaroscar i've done the same thing and ouch does it hurt! With DS i was really consious of making sure everything was 'nice' down there for my Dr (don't ask me why i'm sure he didn't notice either way) and on a couple of occasions i accidently nicked myself When it was time to give birth to my DS i actually took the time to shave off everything! Yep full brazillian! I figured it would be nicer for the doctors/midwives when i was in labour so they could see what they were doing (yeah i know, i know what was i thinking!) mind you it took me ages to do it with a mirror with one foot up and trying to hold onto the wall for balance... not a good look haha
This time round i'm just going to give it a little trim down there but the hair is staying lol.

I couldn't help but laugh at that. Sorry. I remember when I was in the later stages of being preggers and had a tidy up. I couldn't see anything. I went and did this big perade for my husband and he cracked up laughing. I asked what he was laughing at and it turned out that i had missed bits and pieces leaving it quite patchy.
Needless to say I got him to do it next time.

A similar thing happened to my SIL but she knew the Dr well enough for them to have a laugh. After that I always threw the cloths in the washing machine in case it ever happened to me. I still get a giggle when I think of it.

rofl, this cracks me up. I can't see down there anymore and the other day I stupidly decided I could do a bit of a tidy up, not a good idea when you're just guessing what you're doing. Was all proud of myself and then looked in the mirror to find a huge bald patch!!!! pmsl.

ROFL - i've never had a wax 'down there' before but i think i will before go into labour ... might make labour feel better? haha

Funny story i read in a magazine today - i CRACKED up:

    Hairy Issues

Are you going to groom 'down there' before the birth? Most forum mums-to-be are opting to get their partners to shave them or will get a professional wax before the big day, but one user, Alisa, had a different experience: "i couldn't afford to get it done professionally, so i bought a pack of wax strips and lay down while my husband helped me put the strips on. He was worried about hurting me but I told him to just do it, so he did - and it hurt so much that I couldn't do the other side. Half of it was missing - I had to give myself a combover!!"
