    doc is off his tree!
two weeks "pregnant" is what you generally are at ovulation as pregnancy weeks start from last AF - so if your last AF was may 25 i'd say you're up to about 4 weeks (give or take - i'm too slack to look at calendar)
    congratulations on your pregnancy!

    What the?!?!

Bit strange if you ask me.

Pregnancy is always dated from the first day of your last period! So from the dates you've listed you would be just over 4 weeks.

Congratulations! Wishing you a happy and healthy journey!

You should be able to get your records sent over to your new Dr when you get one.

You'll probably have to sign a consent form.

I'd even wait until your about 6 weeks before you go to your next Dr. That way you can go for a dating scan. That way you can be sure how far along you actually are.

Not all pregnancies are dated from your LMP. Mine for example cannot be as I ovulated later in the month than normal. And my hcg levels and dating scan backed that up.

So maybe go back and ask him about it. If the hcg levels are indicating your only early on, it may be possible you ovulated later than normal so going by your LMP may not be accurate.

    Congrats on being pregnant though!

Congratulations! Firstly on your pregnancy, and secondly on being smarter than a doctor!

Where in Brissy are you? You definitely need to see a new doctor.

Go whenever, I went at 4 weeks and got the referral then for an early scan (for viability though, not dating) and booked it for when I was 7w2d.

i guess what your doc was saying is that you ovulated about 2 weeks beforehand - which makes sense - he just didn't word it right!

i would wait another 2 ish weeks (makes you 6weeks) before seeing the doctor - given the confusion with dates by this GP you may be sent for a dating scan

oh, and LMP is fine to go by IF you have a 28 day cycle - if i went by LMP for my two natural pregnancies (which i lost at around 5 and anywhere from 9-14 weeks) i would have been as much as nine months on that theory!

If your blood test result had a HCG level of 200 then by the HCG levels your pregnancy is only at a 2 week stage. Hopefully your levels will double and triple in the next few weeks and sort itself out. A low HCG count isnt good.

Ask for another blood test next week to see how much the levels have risen by.... Best of Luck and Congratulations

yeh although my hcg levels were very high 200's only just in the 1-2 weeks preg mark..almost in the 3-4 range an i got those results two days after i first tested so im guessing it was much higher the day i got the results back but will def go to another doc an get a second opinion and another blood test just to be on the safe side

mine at 16 DPO were only 27 - and i have a healthy one year old now! (and it was an assisted conception baby so we know when i ovulated)

at two weeks pregnant (when talking of a 40 week pregnancy) you are only just ovulating - for at least another 6 days you don't have a HCG reading as the embryo hasn't implanted. a reading in the high 200's is a very good reading for two weeks post-ovulation (4 weeks pregnant)
