early u/s advice pls

Helo everyone I am new here, just found out I am preg roughly 6 weeks and my fiance walked out on me as he was cheating

I am booked in for ultrasound scan to date baby and make sure everything ok next week as I have been thru a hell of a lot of stress just wondering do you get pictures after this scan?! as ex does not believe I am preg thinks i am tryna get back with him..

There's not much to take pictures of at this early stage - it'll be just an embryo so it's very unlikely they'll give you a printout. You can always ask though.

Quite frankly I wouldn't worry about your ex, he sounds like a right tosser and not worthy of being around you as you embark on this wondrous journey towards motherhood. Look after yourself and your bubba and wash that man right outta your hair! *HUGS*

thanks hun was just such a shock he stole $7000 and just got on a plane back to the UK... bastard was texting me all night sayin how he couldnt wait to see me etc... i get home and hes gone no note nothing..

He thinks im playin the pregnancy card I just wanna send him the photo just to show I am better then that, we were trying for a bubba anyway for 11 months... but guess he couldnt keep it in his pants whilst he was at work eh...

Heya Caz,

You can get a piccie of this scan, it doesn't show much as the foetus just looks like a blobby thing but you can definately get a picture.

You can make a copy of it for him by scanning it and printing it again. Just remember one thing leopards don't change their spots no matter what they say. If you want him in your childs life - well he is the baby's father but would you want him back in yours?

You have this gorgeous little one to look after so focus your energy there, send him updates if you feel the need but don't waste anymore energy on him. You deserve better.

I had an early scan at 9 weeks and got the print out, didn't have to ask for it. But just let them know you want one and they should do that for you!

Oh, I hope everything works out fine for you and bubs. Just remember what will be will be, everything happens for a reason.

And most definitely just ask for a print out, you will get a print out of the report findings anyway, so that should be enough to but to him.

thanks everybody for your replys you really helped me out.. :-) scan is on tuesday cant wait. he ran back to the UK and Im here in Perth so im doing it all alone
