Definately would NOT use an electric blanket EVER - pregnant or not!
I learned about the electromagnetic radiation they give off even when turned 'off' (as long as it's plugged in it's still emiting) in a subject at uni last year all about hidden health hazards in the home - ditch the lekkie blanket and get a nice cosy hot water bottle - much safer for you and your baby
