    You could call the hospital and see what a midwife reckons? But from what I've heard, contractions start from the top and push down, so it could be some sort of BH. Hopefully others will pop in with their experiences, but given how we all experience labour differently, I'd not be surprised at there being a bit of variety in how we experience BH's too. xo

    Oh as much as I have been joking lately that I want this baby now. I can wait.. *I am having a planned caesar and need my ob there. Thanks Nelle, I was more curious then anything and really hoping it will just go... : ) Did you hear that Universe? Lol. xx

    I had a similar very long BH with my twins a few hours before going into labour. It was caused by twin II turning from breech to head down, it would be interesting to see if your baby has dramatically changed position now.

    Wow. Bubs has moved like mad in the last 45 minutes too. Thought it might of been the ice.. maybe not. : )

    If it happens again I would call the hospital and see what they say. The reason I say that is when I was in labour I was having tonic contractions lasting for more than 10 mins. It made DS distressed and his heart rate dropped. I almost had a c/section because of the danger to DS. I am totally not an expert inthings like this but it might be better to ask than to not.
