lol.. I don't know about them specifically - but I took the magnesium & calcium supplement, as well as my Elevit when I was pregnant with DS (leg cramps)

    So perhaps you can?

CONGRATS! yes you can take caltrate. My obs suggested I take them but I since found out that they are not easily absorbed so you are better of taking Calcium and Magnessium together as the magnessium helps the body absorb the calcium. Do your research. I am sure you will spend hours on google and BB asking all sorts of questions now!

    Congratulations!!!

You can take the tablets, I know of many who were told they should be taking them before they fall. I would double check with your Dr though.

I also took them on advice from my GP, but they actually made me sick.

Hehe thanks everyone!!! I checked with my doctor he said its not a problem, esp to take them while i preg since bubs is going to taking alot of calcium hehe!

But he also said that even tho my calcium level was low on the bloodtest doesnt mean i have low calcium, the body uses as much as it needs and some times when you get a low result it just means that my body needs less then everyone elses. He said (it was a different doctor to tell me i had low calcium, this one is my normal doctor that i have been to for a while) That when a calcium level shows up low they should do other test to see why...
