I sympathise!! I don't have specific examples right now - can't remember!! But I swear since being pregnant with number 1 and with number 2 on the way my brain is slowly but surely decreasing in size and ability!

Just write lots of lists and notes - that's what I do!

I worked in transport before, jobs on the go everywhere, forklift drivers to control, dealing with containers, truck drivers, customers, shipping lines, and staying ahead of all the sexist jokes that come with being a girl in the truckin industry (a man's world).

now? pffffft. I was having trouble working at the hatchery just counting out tubs of chicks by the 80 load! geez, 1, 2, 3, 4, now where was I again?

    gawd help me

I hate to tell you, but it's not temporary LOL! My brain has never returned to normal since my first pregnancy

It truly is worse when I'm pg though. Last night I stared blankly at DS1 (who is nearly 5) while he was telling me he doesn't need a bib - I was putting DS2's bib on him for some reason . The penny eventually dropped

fionaw, I totally sympathise with you.

I'm not as 'switched on' as I used to be at work and it's driving me insane! Also, it's not the complicated things, it's the simple everyday tasks...

Hopefully it will get better after birth!

    :yeahthat:

My brain also has never returned to normal since my first pregnancy. It seems a little better after bubs is born but then gets worse again with each pregnancy after. Im sure of it anyway. I am pregnant with baby number 3 and my brain is worse than ever.
