well, just thought i'd update this thread - DH decided yesterday to tell his god daughters we're pregnant - both girls we're really excited, and their dad (trouble makers husband) was really supportive. i've talked to DH, and we're both prepared to work on a relationship with the girls, via their dad - and the girls will be able to see the baby when it arrives - but their mother is not to come within cooee of our kidlet EVER. DH knows i'm not afraid to do anything in my power to protect our child from her and her toxic influence, even if it becomes physical or involves calling the police to remove her from our property, and will back me up the whole way. thankfully, my family (who remain friends with DH's nephew) are also very supportive. hell, it even seems like DH's nephew is taking our "side" in this and being supportive in helping us to re establish contact with his kids - whether his wife likes it or not! i guess maybe she's shown her true colors to a few more people, and they're realising we're not the bad guys they thought us to be

    Briggsys girl,
For god sake DONT stress out. If you have to move away for the rest of your pG .I would do it. My mum died of cancer in 05 and because of the way my siblings treated me before she died( mum died 7 weeks after my miscarrage) I lost our baby girl at 19 weeks, stress was the likely cause. I still cannot forgive them and they are no longer a part of my life. Truthfully I have never felt better. You dont need to have ppl like that in your life even if they are so called "family".
Take care of yourself and Im glad you have reconciled with the "good" ones. Very true, Ppls true colours do eventually show through.
