Feeling the Placenta Blood Flow from the Outside

My placenta is positioned basically right where my belly button is and if I place my hand there or somebody else does, it is possible to feel this woosh, woosh, woosh which I am assuming is the blood flow related to it in some way (to it, through it, I'm not sure). Is this normal? Anybody else feel this? It is really kind of neat but completely freaky at the same time so would be nice to know I'm not the only one who has experienced this... it isn't something to be concerned about right? It isn't like a normal pulse, it is definitely a more flowing feeling like waves. I'm 40w today

Doh, Audax, we spent the day with the Grandparents but we definitely should catch up sometime... judging by the day I've had today it might have to be after bub now

So anybody else out there or am I the only weirdo who is lucky(?) enough to have a placenta positioned right near where my belly button has stretched so thinly haha. It is a very odd feeling, part of me can't stand to feel it because it seems so freaky and the other can't help always putting my hand there because it seems neat. It feels like pulsing water rushing past, like a jet pump or something. Really odd. Woosh, woosh, woosh seems to describe it well.
