    Give me cold, cold cold

I can't get enough Cold stuff!!!!
Ice, slurpies, icey cold water ANYTHING cold - I just can't get enough!!!

I'm so hot and don't feel like anything is going to cool me down - i go to sleep with cold washers on me, I get up during the night and eat ice and have cold showers
I was like this my last 2 weeks with DD but OMG this is getting beyond ridiculous now!

I had that for a while too - and still do to a point. I crave icy cold water to the point where I drink it so fast that I give myself a sore windpipe!!!

Apparently craving really cold things comes under "pica" and can be a mineral deficiency - but I mentioned this to my ob and he told me that it just means I am hot and need to cool down

haahahaha that sounds familiar! I swear I'd drive into the macca's drive-thru and they'd have a large frozen coke there for me ready to go!

DP wanted to kill me at night when I'd crank the air con!

I have an addiction to icy poles & iced water will drink it by the jug full, room temp water I'm lucky to drink a glass.

I can't sleep without aircon on, we have evap and it near runs 24/7 when I'm home or now that it's down to about 13 degrees at night I can manage with it running on just the fan

we have the aircon on a lot too.

I was craving a lot of cold stuff as well, then my doc told me my iron levels were low,

I read in another thread that craving icy stuff could indicate an iron deficiency.

I have splits in the freezer, Now I'm going to have to eat one

    !!!

My mum was the same when she was pregnant with me, she thought I was going to come out with a beanie on as I would have been so cold from all the ice she ate
