Glucose Test

I have had the test in both my pregs now - but as I have a larger BMI I have to have the 2 hr test! It goes fast and isn't that bad! I fell asleep on their couch at the last one!!
If you don't want it then don't do it- they can't make you!

Wow really? My BMI would be very high but I've only ever had to do the 1hr test.

PCOS and having a previous baby that was on the larger side of things seem to be on the list.

DD1 was 3.95kg and my OB said when I was pregnant with DD2 that I was probably going to be diagnosed with GD because she was so close to 4kg - and I'm a large girl.

But so far (3 pregnancies) my blood sugars have been fine, if anything, a little low.

I'm getting the test on Monday to find out in this pregnancy though, so now that I've said that I'll probably test high.. lol
