    Question A hairy question

Not a scary hairy question but one about hair

I have just noticed this and its kind of embarrassing but my tummy hair seems to be out of control. I am one of these poor women with dark body hair and usually it doesn't bother me but seriously its like all the hair from my legs has travelled up to my midriff

please tell me this can be a common thing and will revert back to its normal state post bub I feel like a gorilla

I have no idea if it will go away but I can tell you I am going through it at present... I get excess hair due to my PCOS but the excess excess hair I have at present is just ridiculous!

I have my fingers crossed that it does subside (though it is likely not all of mine will because of the PCOS) but if it doesn't I will have to take out shares in my local beautician's shop!

    It goes away
I was getting my tummy waxed when I was pg and I am not a hairy woman

A couple of months afterwards everything goes back to normal ....more or less ...LOL

When I was pregnant with Matilda I got thick dark hairs just in that line (the snail trail), it went once she was born and it hasn't come back with this pregnancy, yet!
I did notice that my pubic hair was thicker than normal last time also, its horrible!

Yep everytime I get pg, I get hair on my tummy, some on my chin and (hmmm TMI) down between my butt crack! Lots of it! Thankfully it goes away again in the months after bubs is born.

Yeah too bad it only goes away on some! Ahhh to be blessed with those mediterrainian genes! I'm going to get mine lazered off I think...I am like the living/human woolly mammoth! I hate it so much! No amount of waxing helps either....so there is no point in embarrasing myself infront of a beautician!

Hope you're lucky and yours goes away!

I was only admiring my newly acquired beard in the mirror this morning wonder whether I should start yet another thread on excess hair growth. Thanks for doing the honours Nae!!

The extra hair is foul! My underarm hair is actually really difficult to shave now (it just doesn't want to part with my underarm!) and it grows back within hours, or so it seems. I have quite a few fluffy bits surrounding my belly button which I was getting waxed but I've given up on them now. My pubes are out of control and even waxing isn't working as well as it normally does. And I wasn't kidding about the beard, I have a nice growth under my chin too - I have NEVER had that before.

I'm seriously beginning to wonder if I'm warmer these days because of the hormones or the fur coat I'm wearing 24/7?!

I've been on the lookout for the snail trail... but that section has gone around the corner now and I can only check it in the mirror.
I've only got peach fuzz on my tummy and I have my fingers crossed it doesn't develop into anything denser or darker.
Buy my head hair is growing so fast. It seems like I need a trim every three weeks.
