Has anyone else? ...... possible TMI warning

In the spirit of all things light hearted I just had to post something that occured to me last night.

It is a bit more Adult in some ways and certainly a tad embarrassing but I wanted to share this in the hopes that women may look at their bodies during this time in a very positive way. And yes I am wondering if I am perhaps a freak

I was having a moment when anyone would have thought it was 40+ in temperature. I was sooooo hot so I did what any normal person would do *cough* I took off all layers.

I went for a wander through my house because its like an ice box in the back section and I caught my reflection in the mirror. I stood there for a moment, turning from front to side and the other side and thought "darn!!! I look good pregnant and naked"

I even rushed into the lounge and said to DH "look at me don't I look good?"

Now I am by no means a skinny girl, in fact I have not been proud of my physical appearance since 2006 when I was 28kilos lighter than I am atm. I have had HUGE issues with my body since my C-sec last year and have felt so unattractive that I had just given up in some respects.

I think Carson needs to do a "how to look good naked and pregnant" segment for women who feel down about their bodies during this phase. Its so amazing and even the stretchies aren't bad nor do they take away from your appearance.

Now, someone please remind me of this thread in say 4 months time when I am whinging about how fat I feel

It's amazing how good you feel pregnant isn't it? I had a moment the other day where I caught a glance in the mirror post shower. was horrified when i spotted some post baby wobbly bits but then I remembered how good I felt pregnant. I felt better :laugh:

I know exactly what you mean!

I am so confident in my body when i am pregnant. I feel so beautiful and almost.. sexy. hahaha. Nothing wobbles in your tummy, its all so tight and nice!

I am happy prancing around the house in a bra and undies - something i'd never feel confident doing when not pregnant.

Enjoy every moment NaeNae - soon your beautiful belly will be gone, and you'll miss it dearly

haha I know EXACTLY what you mean! I love my pregnant bod too and now my acne has all cleared up I feel all glowy/pregnant goddess-ish and stuff.

Just a shame about my BB's though, Jayvan killed those for me and they aren't as perky as they once were ><;;

Hahaha, That is so great. Good on you! I'll have to make sure I get lots of Pregnant photos this time around as I have none really from my last two.

the only time i've ever been truley happy with my body is when i'm pregnant.
im not a big girl but have alot of body issues. i think its because all those lumps and bumps smooth out and u have beautifully rounded belly.
cant wait to get pregnant again!

Yep I felt so good in my last pregnancy that I life modeled for a photography student

I have some fantastc photos and a am really proud of myself and them.
I am looking forard to looking pregnant this time around instead of thick in the waist /tummy (too many cakes look), bring on the big tight tummy
