I am with ControlFreak its more important the rising then the actual number and you can't compared yourself to others at the same gestation as there is such a variation. When did you have the blood test? Was it a week or so ago and you have only just got your results? Also do you have another HCG level to compare it to for this pregnancy or was it your first BT you have had this time? I would try have another BT just for peace of mind. When do you think you O? Even if you know your exact DPO you dont know how long it too for the bubba to imbed in the uterus lining which is when they start producing the masses of HCG.
