Danni try putting a cold washer/flannel over them. Or wrap the washer around a cool brick you know those esky cold things. It should help. It's probably your milk ducts starting to prepare themselves. I hope you find some relief.
I think it was ecezma on my nipples, b/c i've had that a lot post birth
Lucas' paw paw cream (red tub) is good for it... Otherwise it might be thrush, so maybe have it checked out? If it is you can just rub vaginal thrush cream in the area to help
I had really bad nipple thrush for about 3 weeks, it was so bad that basically almost all the skin in my nipples peeled off & was bleeding - so painful!
I still have the paper from the dr where she wrote all the stuff to do for it - I'll try and find it and email it to you, but it will probs be Sunday (you might have to remind me, i'm so forgetful at the moment)
If you want a great lactation consultant to see about it - i can recommend somebody fantastic
