Help!! may be TMI!!!

So I am just over 12 weeks, and on Friday I had a bit of blood stained mucus. I have felt kind of strange since and my vagina has been very uncomfortable. It felt really bad just a little while ago so I had a little feel around and there seems to be a lump between my urethral opening and my vagina. I'm really not sure what it its...could it be a prolapse??? Im freaking out big time!!! Should I call my ob or wait until the morning? I have my nt scan tomorrow arvo as well.

If it was just a small amount then try to relax and rest. Hopefully your OB can give you some answers in the morning but it's quite possible you have scratched yourself when having a feel and the blood from this has come out with some normal pregnancy discharge. It's never nice when you see blood of any sort in pregnancy, but most of the time this will not be sinister.

Thanks traveller, Im not so worried about the blood but more the lump!! Its very strange. Not painful but uncomfortable.

I had a few extra lumps during pregnancy, and was reassured that they were just normal bumps and lumps, swollen with extra pregnancy blood. They have all gone now You OB will probably want to give you an internal just to check, but I'm sure everything will be ok.

Thanks traveller I just got dh to have a look and it goes away when I lie down.
