HI all,

Beema - Yay for popping in. i hope your doing as well as to be expected. So glad your Little princess is growing nicely. I actually have a good feeling about this bub staying put until at least 37wks, I dont think any later than 38wks though. So feel quite confident expecially after last weeks u/s, where they said bub is now at the 8th percentile up by two percent. Have another u/s in two weeks time, so I guess will know more then. Thankyou for sharing your birth story too. hugs

Crumpet - Now I said it before and I will say it again here, rest rest rest, and more rest. lol. I am praying that your little princess stays put for at least another 4-5wks, would be lovely to be longer though. hang in there hun, you are doing beautifully. hugs

Beema - wow, she is absolutely gorgeous. Hope you get to talk about the whole preg experience, it is so important to come to terms with everything that happened. But the outcome is great, what a little darling she is.

Crumpet - great on the BP and the weight gain, oh no to the stitch and the cervix shortening. Hope you can hang on a little longer Hun.

csab - the link wouldn't work for me, but can see bubs pic on the ticker, aaahh so cute.

afm - tired and sore, terrible ligament pain all the time and sore cervix, bubs is still breach and doing kick boxing straight onto it, the pain!
Got my scan on Thursday and will get a date for bed rest then.
Totally not related to this pregnancy but, for the past 20 months since losing my daughter have been fundraising for equipment to donate in memory of her (with the NICU support group), this turned up a few weeks ago, which was fab. It is a cold cot, to help other mums who have lost there babies, so they can spend longer with their little ones. But just ordered a plaque to attache to it, to say who provided the funds and then donated in her memory and her full name. This is going to be attached and then there is going to be a photo shoot with the local paper. I am so proud.

I didn't have the best news on Thursday's scan, the scar is still thick, but because of this it is causing the uterine lining directly below that to thinout considerably.
The Ob said I need to be ob bedrest from Monday until delivery. But he doesn't think I will get past 30/31 weeks. Cervix is OK though, still long and closed, at least one part of my reproductive anatomy is behaving.
Every weeks counts at the moment.
I am stressed and anxious.

The Ob said I need to be ob bedrest from Monday until delivery. But he doesn't think I will get past 30/31 weeks. Cervix is OK though, still long and closed, at least one part of my reproductive anatomy is behaving.
Every weeks counts at the moment.
I am stressed and anxious.

im sorry u didnt get the news you were after. good news that the scar is still thick, does that mean u will be able to VB?
what sort of issues can the thin lining cause?
good news on the cervix, glad urs is doing as it should!

sorry to hear about the bed rest, its not fun. i hate it and am over it, but at the same time i know we will both benefit from it.

try not to stress to much, i know its not as easy as that but the more u stress the worse bed rest will seem.

Any sign of BH contractions and they will rush me for a section, as the risk of re-rupture then would be high.
Might pop along to your belly buddies group and say hi to the girls in there, looks like I will delivering early, so handy to met other mums that may have a similar b'day to my little one.

bed rest is going ok, im bored stupid but luckily im getting quite tired again so its easier to sit and do not much atm.
ive hit 31 weeks today so thats exciting, see my OB at 1245 so who knows what will happen after that!

getting all sorts of pain and what not but oh well thats going to happen i just try to ignore it

Im sorry you have had a bad time of it and your ob appt didnt go well. I hope those BH stay away so you can get to at least 34-36wks or more. The scar doesnt sound real good. Noone has mentioned my c/s scar, Im assuming they have checked it with the u/s's though. Im sorry I didnt come on here any earlier. Sending lots of hugs

OB was happy with this weeks progress..
things have settled down a lot since last week and he is thinking ill hold on a bit longer, probably scrape in at 34weeks but not much more, which im happy with means i can go to my hospital of choice not the one id need to go to for her being a premmie.
ive gained 400g and 2cm in fundal height so looks like she is growing well and he is happy with her movements so he is really happy with all of that.
still on bed rest im hoping he might loosen the conditions next week, he had said at 28w only 4 weeks of rest so fingers crossed!
but i do have a scan on tuesday before my appt so depending on what that shows i could have a whole differenst set of instructions!

how was it having the steroids?? im going to be having them when i go into labour anytime up to 36weeks after that he wont worry.

hope ur not going to insane on bed rest!

Yay crumpet hun, thats wonderful news about your ob appt this week. ATM I havent had much talk about the steroids with my Dr's yet, hopefully we wont need to have that talk. FX you make it to 36wks, how cool would that be for you. Again with the bedrest..... R.E.S.T.............. R.E.S.T.......... R.E.S.T.......... lol

Well, have my u/s nest week on Tuesday so will get to see bub again and hopeuflly have some good news. yet with any luck will have an idea on how soon bub will make an entrance to the world too, especially since the Physcians etc need me to stop the aspirin at a certain point. Everyone I see cant believe i am as far as I am in the pgcy, yet I cant see what they see, I think I look it. One lady didnt even think I was pg. So I figure I must just look fat. lol. Will come back and chat later. hugs

Hi girls, think its time i face reality and join in here.
For a start i'm type 1 diabetic, secondly our little man has tetralogy of fallot. his heart is basically built all wrong and doesnt carry enough oxygenated blood around his body, which will result in him have 'blue episodes' when he's feeding, crying or excited when he's born until he has open heart surgery to fix everything.
It;s all pretty daughnting atm, our girls have been 100% perfect.
I had an amnio done last week because his heart condition can be linked to chromosomal disorders but thats come back all clear thank goodness!
We have another scan at 32 weeks to see if his arteries are growing with his body or not, and will be taking it from there. they said they looked realy good so far, so keeping our fingers crossed we can get him closer to 38 weeks.
Not really sure how the birth will go, theyve said theres no need fr me to have a section because of his condition, but i think i;ll be birthing infront of an audience again! nothing like pressure huh? (DD2 was born at 36 weeks) theyve also said he could be born blue, but im not sure if that means his colour will be blue for longer than normal but he'll be fine or if he'll be born not breathing kinda blue. Have an OB app next tues so will ask then.
All going well he'll be able to come home between being born and his op at 3-6 months, but it all depends on his condition when he is born, too many variables for my liking, i like things to be clear cut so not handling it all to well!

nah wont hit 36, he said it will be nothing short of a miracle to get to 36-37weeks, my cervix is shortening to quick.
i only asked last week coz he thought we might have gone last week or this week but he only likes to do one maybe 2 doses because a study has just shown to many doses can slow down brain development, i havnt read the study but i have so muxh trust in my OB im happy for him to call the shots...

yayyyy!! for scans on tuesday mine is tuesday arvo, im desperatly hoping for a 3D look at her face to see who she is looking like!!!
how exciting, u will know soon when baby will be here. im hoping my cervix length will give us a rough idea of how long ill hold on, the more weight and pressure that gets added the quicker its going to give in so who knows!!!

variables are scary arnt they, cant say im a fan but for me im "lucky" my variables are me and not my baby...
