The risk you run though with hiring a Doppler is that sometimes bub might be in a different position or you won't use it perfectly, and you will not be able to hear the hb or it will be very faint. I've heard that as often as the can give you a sense of control and that everything is okay, they can also cause unwanted and unnecessary stress
I know how you feel Hun. At the end of the day it's your call, of you use it and it makes you concerned you can just go in to the hospital and get checked, no biggie So long as you're comfortable.
Doppler's are curious creatures. As anything out there, there are good ones and bad ones. I sell medical equipment for a living, so I have seen first hand the frustrations when this technology fails. As with anything, sometimes trying to have too much information can be more filled with danger than just letting things flow. I understand you want one, but, the risk of becomming 'addicted' and the stress that may be caused if you don't get a clear result could be extremely stressful to you, even when you don't have any reason to worry. If you go down this road, be sure to keep an open mind, and remember techology can be unreliable.

Just my two cents worth.
I agree with the above.
