How early did you feel your first symptom?

Not sure if this is in the right section, apologies if it's not...

I am wondering in people's experiences about how early in their pregnancy they felt their first symptom?

We have just started TTC #2 and I can't remember how these things are supposed to work, too long ago for me I have a vague recollection of having a metallic taste in my mouth when it was still too early to test.

So how did it work for you? Did you start noticing things straight after ovulation/conception? After you tested? Or some time after that?

I am only a matter of days past ovulation and I have a metallic taste in my mouth, and my boobs are kind of sore (sorry if TMI)... trying to get it all in perspective as its quite possibly all in my head, and I don't want to get my hopes up so soon!

In my two pregnancies, I had symptoms within 3-4 days. Different symptoms for the different pregnancies. My DH can usually tell by looking at me within a few days. Just because I have symptoms though, it doesn't mean I "believe" I'm pregnant though.

I didn't test early with the m/c pregnancy. It had a faint positive late at night on 8DPO for the 2nd pregnancy.

My very first symptom was crushing tiredness... I remember saying to my boss that I was going to have to go to the doctor, there must be something wrong with me.

I got a BFP when I was 3days late.. so about 16 - 17 dpo?... but the tiredness had been there for a week, easy.

That was about the ONLY symptom I had in my first trimester, too.

No symptoms at all for me. I had more potential symptoms in all the other months I wasn't pregnant. First symptom was a positive HPT at 12DPO. Morning sickness then came on at 6 weeks.

2-3 DPO i had cramping. Then i started to feel really tired, dizzy and really emotional. My sense of smell heightened a lot and i could smell everything! Bad BO, smokers breath.. it was awful! Morning sickness hit around 5 weeks and with that i was tired all the time. When i wasnt at work i was in bed. i would sleep for 16-18 hours every day.

Tiredness, REALLY sore boobs and sensitive nipples, plus an overwhelming urge to eat everything and anything not nailed down. I remember crying hysterically to DH while he was in the shower that I couldn't stop eating and was putting on so much weight!! This all started a few DPO. Looking back, I can't believe I didn't realise I was pregnant. Duh. Only tested because af was a few days late and was feeling a bit sick - I had docs tell me because of my age it would take a while for me to fall pregnant and I believed them...

5 DPO I had an implantation bleed and passed out, both times. Incredibly sore boobs and sensitive nipples from about 3 weeks after last period. I never got the metallic taste in my mouth.

My imagination loves this thread ... But how to differentiate between my hopeful 'maybe' symptoms and real ones! because I've been TTC for just on 12 months I am a frustrating mix of jaded/skeptical and wildly, desperately hopeful lol.

For instance I'm (I think) about 4 DPO and last night I had tight lower belly and a very achy lower back. I do get these as ovulation symptoms but not this far after the event. Today I'm very slippery down there. Again this is not entirely unusual - except for the timing. But I can dream!

2 or 3 days after conception my boobs exploded!! I went from an A cup to a C cup within a 2 weeks.

I remember driving home from melbourne 2 days after conception and i was in so much pain from my lower back...

So, was kinda hard to hide my pregnancy from my family....

Ladies, is sore or swollen breasts always a sign of being UTD? even as a very early symptom? I don't have sore breasts but am actually hoping they DON'T get sore as they usually get super sore immediately before AF anyway so if they get sore next week I'll be afraid AF is coming soon.

My first symptom that I can recall is not wanting my glass of wine one night!!! I think I must've been about 10DPO? Then I went through a bit of a checklist and realised I had a metallic taste and sensitive boobs but I always had the soreness before AF,, so I wasn't sure.

Hmm I've always wondered how i'd survive for nine months sans wine. I did trial an alcohol free month in January which was okay ... I missed champagne though!

Sore boobs pretty much a week later, than period type pains. I didn't usually get the sore boobs.

Well I'm finally back in this thread and for once I can report on ACTUAL pg symptoms! I'm getting a blood test tomorrow but I think I'm 5 weeks along. My first symptoms were around CD 22-25 and were lower abdominal tightness just like af was coming. I still have that feeling now. Plus on CD 28 my breasts became very sore-the day af was due.
