I could tell at 6 weeks that i had a tiny pot tummy buy Hubby said i was crazy. At 8 weeks he started to agree there was something there. At 11 weeks, i woke up one morning and was noticeable. It was weird. It popped over night and since 11 weeks people have been asking questions. I have my 12 week scan tomorrow so if all good, i can finally just announce it to everyone.

I remember I couldn't do up my pants at 5 weeks and by 10 weeks there was a definite baby bump.

People would be going on about how huge I was, and then someone would come along saying that you couldn't even tell I was pregnant! It's funny how other people's perceptions are so different.

Enjoy your little bump! Pretty soon it's going to be so big you can't even do up your shoes!

I love my bump! Whether it's baby, bloating or fat, I don't care...it wasn't there before I was pg, and it is now, so I love it Thanks for all the stories, it's interesting how different everyone is, huh?

With my first we told everyone at 18 weeks and I remember Mum asking to look at my belly, well I lifted my shirt and it didn't look any different. I didn't tell work I was pg until I was 24 weeks and even then they wouldn't have noticed unless I told them, then held my shirt tight over my tummy to show them I wasn't joking.

This time though I'm still not showing but wondering if I will show soon as it is my second. Kind of doesn't feel real until you have a baby belly. I have a wedding to go to in 3 wks and would love a baby belly rather that just looking bigger.

Aw that's great. Don't forget to take photos of your bump from your point of view, as well as the side shots. This is something I wish I'd thought of at the time!

My ex-housemate noticed my belly expanding before I did (she reckons from about 8 weeks). I was in denial and thought I'd skipped a couple of periods from moving stress

OOO also how tall are you PZ? Shorter women show earlier. My Obstetrician was quite shocked how quickly I showed because I'm 5 ft 9

With #1 it took me ages to show. Had really good abs from being a gym junkie before becoming pg. Think it was about 24 weeks. #2 was earlier, cause no gym, maybe 20 weeks. This time I had really bad m/s, and instead of losing weight, I HAD to eat! So put on heaps of weight early on. #3 looks like it's gunna be a big one! Popped about 18 weeks. Though with t-shirts, people still don't believe I'm pg. When it gets hotter I'll start wearing singlets and probably scare the **** out of everyone!!

I think it's not just about how many pgs but also how close together. When I was pg with DS2, DS1 was 11 months and I was showing by 3 weeks. DH and others knew I was pg before I did as I was showing before I even suspected I was pg.

Yeah, could be why you're showing early as well. I'm surprised I showed so early with my abs because i had a full 6 pack happening

This is bub #6 and omg I look like I'm 5 months already lol. I'm 11 weeks today and have a very definite baby bump (photo in my album, not sure how to link it here) I really showed very early on, maybe even before I did the tests.

I definitely showed earlier with DS2 than with DS1. The only problem with having a belly early is when you don't want to tell people yet.
I was sure I looked sooooo pg the first time round, and wondered how everyone could be stupid enough not to notice. Now I look back at my 20 week photos and the belly is so small. There is no way I would ask anyone who looked like that if they were pregnant! lol.
With DS2 I was as big at 12 weeks as I was at 20 weeks the first time. Didn't get any bigger overall though.
This time I am bloated more than the first 2 times, but it isn't a pg belly yet... some days it is there and others it isn't. I just choose my clothes appropriately. Can't wait to have a 'real' belly though. I loved my belly!!
