How long was it between bubs engaging and labour - baby#2

Eeeek!! This baby has suddenly dropped really low and I've got a huuuge amount of pressure down there.

Whilst I know experiences will vary wildly, I'm wondering how long it was between your second or subsequent bubs engaging and labour starting?

    TIA

My second engaged at about 28 weeks, so ages before labour. It was terribly uncomfortable and I dreaded putting DS shoes on because crouching made it feel like she was going to drop out!

DS dropped at 36weeks, and I had him at 38weeks, so 2 weeks of all that pressure and pain!

All my babies engaged nice and early, but all were born post-dates LOL!

Fingers crossed you've got a little more time up your sleeve!

Thanks ladies. As suspected, there's huge variation there. I'm more apprehensive about your timeline Winter. I need a few more weeks please! Mind you, not sure how long I'm going to want to manage this waddle for. And I have a very automatic habit of crossing my legs when I sit down which now, if I even so much as attempt, bubs belts me in the ribs!!

Hehe. Pie didn't engage until I'd been in labour for a few hours - and a minute or two before she crowned. I can't remember the others exactly although I do recall DS1 (baby no.2) moved up & down a fair bit in the last 4 weeks, really messed with my head.
So seeing as you need a few more weeks, fingers crossed this bub moves up again for you

Both bub's engaged very early for me. I think I had around 8-10 weeks with both of them engaged to some extent before they decided it was time to arrive.
