Megan sweetie hang in there it WILL happen. Make sure you start BDing 5 days before you are expected to ovulate and every other day is enough the experts say. If you BD 5 days before it gives the little spermies enough time to "GET THERE" before the egg disolves. Good luck and wish me luck! :smt023

18+ months here so far, if I count the m/c then 16 months of TTC.

I am only 20 and Dh is only 25 so its true that finding it hard to get pregnant doesnt always stick with the oldies
I never thought it would take us this long OR that it would end in miscarriage, there is nothing wrong with us at all

It took us 17 months - the GP refered us to fertility doc & sent me for u/s before I saw fertility guy. Then rang me up and said did they say anything to you during the u/s cause it looks as if there's a small fetal sac so do a HPT. I did three all BFP!!!! YAY.

With DD it took 19 months, I had blocked tubes and needed surgery to fix.. With this pregnancy it took 12 months, we were just about to start looking into help again!

It took us five months to conceive (after being on the pill on and off for 13 years!).

We actually didn't plan when we were going to DTD. We just figured that I'd go off the pill and let nature take it's course! I actually expected it to take longer than it did...

Matt and I conceived the Midget while I was still on the pill. I think there needs to be an option on the poll for "weren't trying"

    It took us TEN YEARS!!!!!

I read all these replies that say 1-3 months and think how different our lives would be if that had been us. We did IVF and that didn't work so we adopted a little bub from South Korea and he just made our world complete, then six months later like a bolt out of the blue I was pregnant, and now I'm preg again! \/

Just goes to show there's a 'master plan' for each one of us.
