When I was PG, I had the OH&S ladies come a couple of times to help me adjust my chair and desk, etc, it's quite common for preggy ladies to have problems sitting at a desk. If you're working for a big organisation I suggest you do the same. Plus sometimes it just comes down to taking more breaks, worker shorter days or starting mat leave earlier!

Now I have a macbook I don't have the fitting behind the desk issue but worry I won't be able to read the screen over mine

those things don't agree with me....
)
Maybe find a good office-supply store that stock them and try them out.
