I don't understand...

So according to dates by my lmp, i am supposed to be 12 weeks 1 day pregnant today..... but according to the scan it dates me as 11 weeks.

I got a BFP on cycle day 30 which means that then i was only 3 weeks pregnant instead of 4. How is it possible to get a bfp so early?

The scanographer says that i would have ovulated late as in day 21-23 which means i would have gotten the bfp 7-9 days later. With my last pregnancy i did ovulate on day 21 as was charting but the soonest i got a faint bfp was 12dpo.

So i am really confused, can someone make sense of it?

thats pretty much what happened with me with my last pregnancy.. I had my LMP on March 3rd and a positive test 2nd April..

IMO it is a healthy pregnancy.. it might just mean your hormones were very strong early on..

According to my LMp I was due the 2nd Dec but all US showed the Due date as the 16th Dec..

Ourlux, you're lucky. Take it as hospitals don't know your body as well as you do, but they won't be pushing for an induction so early. I wish my hospital had listened when I insisted they were dating me too early!

I'd not correct the hospital but just know my real date - I'd rather be dated later by the hospital than sooner!

is mine was the same my lmp was on the 10th august which should make my baby born on the 17th of may but i had an US it showed i am due on the 23rd instead which make me a week behind as well to how many weeks i should be too.

It happened to me too, on my LMP I would of been 6 weeks 2 days, but my dating scan came back at 5w1d or something silly like that. Then my ob appointment i was 8w5d LMP, and bub measures 8w3d. My ob goes off my LMP for my due date anyway.

I wouldn't be too concerned about it, your baby might have a growth spurt like mine did.

yeah that's exactly what happened to me and I was really unconvinced as I didn't think it was possible to get a positive at 3 weeks! Anyway we stuck with their dates, and later in the pregnancy my Ob moved them back to what I thought.

So I'm either due in 12 days or 17 I suppose! Either way, baby will come when it comes...it's just pretty confusing in the early days. But I've been measuring exactly in line with my original dates - just seemed that in the early days we grew a little slowly or something?

I had a trigger shot for my O so my OB and I KNOW exactly when O happened. On my dating scan I was dated 2 days less. My OB is going of the dates we know and she said that all dates given by U/S are +/- 5 days.

I had a BFP at three weeks pregnant with my first pregnancy... I just had a feeling I was pg and tested early. That said I've also had scans which have been weird. I have had two scans in two different pregnancies where bubs measured small for dates and I chart, so I know when I conceived. First time this happened I think it was because I was about to lose to baby. I'd never had good hcg readings and I had had bleeding as well. I measured a week small at 7 weeks.

But with this pregnancy I am 15 weeks. I know when I ovulated and at my dating scan at 8 weeks I was proved right - I measured exactly what I thought I should, to the day. But at my 12 week scan I measured 5 days smaller than I should have. Babies grow at different rates. This baby is fine.
