    Appointment with my OB

I am back, big sigh before I go into everything....

She did a Trans Vaginal exam which showed a lot more than last nights scan.

At present we have one viable pregnancy with a HB of 125BPM, measuring between 6wk5day and 7weeks, I had myself at 7week, my OB at 7week 3 days, but she said that my cycle could have been a longer one, a thing we will not know. The sack it a little irregular in shape and is partially connected to the other sack, but most of it is connected to the uterus and septum (septate uterus).

There is another sack, that is large and has a lot of clotting, masses and fluid in it. It is larger than the viable sack

The viable sack is to the top and right, the other is on the left side of the septum, lower and over the cervix, which is a good thing, we are being hopeful that it will slowly drain out and clear itself out or be absorbed.

The last gush was @ 5am, and it is brown blood now, but she said to expect more, brown and red, but hopefully it all just comes out slowly and is more brown. And because of its positioning and connection it hopefully won't pull the other sack with it.

She checked my cervix length and it is 2.19cm Less than 2.5cm is short.

If we make it to 12 weeks, she will be doing a cervical suture at that point, to prevent it from opening up, and hopefully take me closer to term.

She was glad that I had already had a lot of platelets done, she has organised another set of bloods to check HCG (my level was 32,000 last night and that figure needs to go up) and Progesterone on Thursday before my US at the WCH. Still have the scan at the WCH on Thursday @ 10am as they will be able to tell us more about the mass/clots/blood/second sack. She will call me afterwards with all the results, but that will probably be Friday.

I am booked in to see her on Monday for another scan and to go through the results more, before my original booking appointment with the MW, which will go ahead if it is all still viable (what a horrible word...)

I am just really dissappointed in my body's lack of ability to carry a "normal" pregnancy.... at least I have some positives to focus on and get me through and that is where I need to focus my energy

Thankyou all for your support , I have a few more days of waiting ahead of me now, and in the meantime have to just rest up and do nothing......

    Hang in there Beema
Try to stay positive and rest as much as you can.
It's so frustrating when your body is doing things beyond your control.
I hope you've got plenty of ppl around you to give you lots of cuddles and encouragement!
    Keep us posted.
My thoughts and prayers are with you
