    Smile Appointment Monday 15th March

    Thankyou all for your support

We I made it through the weekend and to the scan, it was good as there was no waiting today, I was first in

Saw my OB first and we had a chat about last week, she agreed that the cramping and bleed I had on Thursday would have been the rupturing of the second sac, the final goodbye as such.....

We discussed the scan, and the BT results, I am not having any more BT's for HCG as the scans are enough, which is good, another thing to not have to think about.

    Todays Scan ~

HR 154 BPM, strong and regular
    Length 1.47cm
Gest 7 + 6, which is inline with my dates, although on my records we have 8+2, and EDD of 23rd of October (which is what my OB came up with last week) which is what will be staying, for a few reasons and for those of you who have had early birds, will understand how much of a difference even a day makes....

The shape of the sac has become significantly more regular and OB was very happy with it's shape.
The viable sac has detached from the septum at the top, a bit, that is a bit of concern, but is connected well with the outer uterine wall and lower part of the septum, be we expect that it may end up completely detaching from the septum.
The septum is very long, right down to the bottom of the uterus.
I have some amazing scan pictures which show the realy heart shape of my uterus, I asked my OB for one and she gave me about 7, plus she gave me other scan photos from the other day so I am going to have quite a collection
The second sac is definitely gone now, there is still some clots and quite a bit of fluid, which we can hope will be absorbed but will likely have to exit the "not so fun way". But I expect that will be the case and hope that it does it slowly and gently

She wants to see me in 2 weeks for another scan.

Two weeks after than I am to have my 12 week scan at Women's Ultrasound, as a high risk patient, they will do another cervical scan at the same time. The Dr I saw at the WCH is based out there  so my hope of not seeing her again may be foiled already

Have to get the Blood Tests 3 days before the scan, that way we will get all the results at the scan, and then see OB not long afterwards.

My OB is hopeful we make it to term or close, but reality is it will be a miracle if we do, but best we can do is get as close a possible and achieve that take home bubba.

But we will be a lot more prepared this time and it will make it just a little bit easier to deal with.

    MW Appointment ~

I then got the go ahead to be formally "booked in" had a great chat with the MW, a different one from the other day, but very lovely, and I actually remembered her from when we transferred out to NECH with N

Went through everything and, all the history etc. And I walked out with a pile of bookings for all the scans and BT's and extra stuff, so I have a busy month ahead.

We also discussed the use of Motilium and how I would like to go right from the get go, this time, to really help get feeding happening better this time, we had a lot to learn from N and we want to be as prepared as possible.

BP was fabulous at 115/60, weight still 60kg and height 164, so BMI at 22.5 - how exciting!

So we are not out of the woods yet a long road to travel, but Flicker growing and that strengthening and regularity of the HB are keeping us going.... 2 weeks until the next appointment...
