Looking forward to hearing how the scan goes today
We had pre booked this appointment 2 weeks ago and I umm'd and ahh'd about whether to go or not as I had seen my OB on Thursday after my last bleed, but after the queries on bubs growth I decided to go and have a check especially with the long weekend coming up.
♥ The second sac is still attached at the bottom of Flickers Sac
♥ The clotting has liquidized quite a bit more, which is really really good, the reduction in clotting is a good.
♥ Shape of Flickers sac is improving and is still firmly attached to the side of the uterus, the lifting off the septum wasn't visible today, so hoping it has reanchored itself.
♥ Flicker is growing :D
♥ Has grown inline with the last scan, so I am going with being 10 weeks today :)
♥ HR is 170, really good and strengthened even more :D
My OB seemed happier with todays scan, still got a lot to go before we can be safe, and what is left of the clotting and the blood needs to be either absorbed or escape before anything like a cervical suture is done, but will know if that is going to be necessary after the next few scans.
Any issues between now and my next appointment - to call my OB on her mobile, she told me this at least 3 times :lol:
So I feel stronger and just a little more confident as we go along, after each appointment we say, we've made it just a little bit further....
Great news!!! Flicker is being cheered on by a lot of surrogate aunties. :pray:
Beema- That is great news!! I just wanted to add that I find your strength through all of this amazing, your babies are very lucky to have such a strong and determinded Mum!

We have made it to 11 weeks :leap: no more bleeding over the past week, emotionally found it difficult this weekend being surrounded by family whom we haven't yet told, hopefully in another couple of weeks things will be looking more safe before we let them know.
Last night was a bad night, DH and I fought over something trivial that was out of my control and I ended up crying my eyes out in the car while everyone went in for dinner, DH stayed and we got through it, both acknowledging how hard it is for the both of us. I recovered and went in and try to calm down my red and puffy eyes, but we got there in the end.
So we are holding it all together most of the time, but having little crashes every now and then, but we are continuing to talk it all through which helps emensely.
Hopefull my next update will be all positive news from the NT scan and praying for a lengthened cervix :pray: and it will provide enough security that we can leave this thread and have a smooth second and third trimesters xxoo
:hug: oh hun, of course you are both only just holding it together and fights can start over the most trivial things when you are going through all that you are right now. :hug: Just know that deep down you both love each other and your family so much and not to take any mood snaps personally. (easier said than done) but I am glad you are able to talk through everything together.
Praying for some good news at the next scan.It is very hard to keep it together around people who dont know. :hug:

Ohh Beema hun, I am so very sorry you are having such a hard time with your pgcy, and for the loss of one precious little angel. Hugs. I am so happy to read that flicker is going strong bringing you more hope in all this worry and stress.
I am :pray: that you continue hearing more and more good news about your little growing bubba flicker, and have wonderful news to share come your NT scan.
Please know that I am thinking of you. I am also so very sorry that I havent been here for you up until now.
Hang in there hun you are doing so well and with each piece of good news comes hope, and as your bub grows and gets stronger so does your hope and in the end your little flicker will be safe and sound in your arms which is where he/she belongs. xoxo

We've made it to 12 weeks :D
We are working through it a bit better at the moment, it is hard on our relationship, but we are getting there, each day is another day closer that we don't need to do again.
Had a day of cramping last week, and really I didn't want to deal with it, there was no bleeding so I just let it fade away, it lasted about 24 hours..... We have the NT and cervical scans on Thursday afternoon, I thought it was tomorrow but when I rang to confirm I was out by a day :redface: would have been worse if we rocked up on Wednesday, as emotionally having to go home and sleep on it would have been harder. Then OB appointment Monday, where we look at what will happen from here on in.
Pray for a nice long cervix on Thursday (anything over 3cm would be great, even though it is still on the short side for this early in pregnancy), and a bright strong HB. Thankyou for you support, I hope that I can leave this thread to rest soon, and when I do that down the track it helps another BB'er through what has been the most challening, emotional rollercoaster of our lives.

Thankyou everyone for your message and prayers, we will be taking everyone in with us to the scan!!!
One sleep now, feeling more positive today, such an emotional process I never really understood until I went through the last few weeks. One of the girls I worked with asked me a few questions about MC today as a friend of hers has just announced at 7 weeks that she is expecting. But I got through it all really well, and I feel that I am now able to hold it all together much more and will let work people know soon, DH and I will decide after tomorrows scan if we let people know then or after Mondays appointment. I think if I am going down the path of a Cervical Suture I will need their support and understanding.
Thanks Georgi, don't feel bad at all, it has been a long difficult time, but we are getting there :hug:
Time to get back to work and keep myself busy, one more sleep, and super happy that a meeting I had booked in at lunch time tomorrow has been cancelled! :leap:
