I'm NOT that big!!!!

i'm not going out into public anymore, visiting anyone or posting pics on FB of my growing belly.
everywhere i go, everyone needs to comment on how huge i am. i get the eyes of pity and oh u must be struggling ect ect.
MIL even had the nerve to ask if my dates were right because 'im so huge'!

all i want is for some stranger to as how llong i have left (which everyone feels is their duty to ask) and when i tell them have them turn around and go u look fantastic.
no togo ohhh really,must be a big baby in there, with their eyes nearly falling out of their heads!

i'm a slender person, im sorry i havent really put on weight anywhere else besides my belly and it looks like a freakin basketballs been shoved up there!

You look fantastic in that pic!! The same thing happened to me and I just blamed DH for being tall and left it at that. It was super annoying but on the upside, at least you can be assured that the comments are probably just because you are all belly

For what it's worth I would've loved to have a really big baby belly - I never looked heavily pregnant so much as heavily fat and slightly pregnant!!

I got the same at 12/13 weeks, coz I was bloated.
She was comparing me to her daughter...It was my FOURTH pregnancy! Her Daughter was on her 2nd baby, 7 years after her first. She was still asking close to the end if I had my dates right & I really wasn't all that big! No bigger than her daughter. (You probably saw my pics)

She was the only one though. Everone else told me I was tiny, evenn though I didn't feel it.

I think your belly is perfect Its not big, just looks like he's got his butt poked right out

I JUST commented on a belly pic of yours before I saw this thread! Psht, I don't think you look too big, pretty smack bang on 33 weeks to me! Lol maybe if your body was fat your bump would look smaller but you're not so everyone is going

I get it too..."oh you're going to have a big baby!!" Get it from my dumbass MIL all the time, and I'm like no, bub is measuring on dates, and she'll say, oh but that doesn't include fat. Ummm, shut up idiot, don't speak to me. I feel your pain but I really think you look gorgeous!

thanks for the booster ladies, it was hard over chrissy and new years because of all the ur so big comments i felt fat and frumpy when i'd put every effort in to look decent. now i just feel like flopping around home in trackies and a big tshirt.
the girls were both around the 3.5kg mark so expecting this one to be a bit bigger but nothing crazy.
its my 3rd baby, and i carry my kids out in front, if u saw me from behind u wouldnt even know i was pregnant.

i just wish i could turn around to strangers and say that skirt makes ur ass look fat so then theyd feel how i do after their stupid comments

Fwiw I always had a littler belly with ds and was told I was havin a small baby! Tell that to my 10 pound little heffalump! Ds was huge.

you look beautiful! its such a perfect round bump! gorgeous! i wish my bum hadnt grown to compensate for my belly like you, not sure which is bigger, my belly or my bum!! ! but people still feel the need to ask if im sure im not having twins! which irks me! someone commented that i must be ready to pop the other week....NO, i still have 10 weeks to go thank you!
A favoured reply to the 'my god your huge' comment is 'well there is an entire human being in there!!!' that tends to leave them with a dumb look on thier faces!
I also find it helps to think 'well i am pregnant, whats your excuse' (only in your head though)

I think you have the most gorgeous bump...and I am extremely jealous!!!! People always feel like they have to give their opinions, and i'm telling you it gets just as frustrating getting told "oh, you're so little" "oh wow, you don't look that far along". Arrrggghhhhh!!!!!
