Sweets, the BUMP is bigger than mine, but that is because YOU are about 3 times smaller than me! lol The baby has to grow somewhere

I would struggle to find any fat there at all, and as for the bump, it looks perfect! You look stunning, and how bog or small it is or isn't is irrelevant to how fab you look!

Everyone is different and carry differently, tell them to rack off x

I think you look gorgeous Skybie! I think people forget how big those babies get in the last few weeks along with their manners lol. If it makes you feel any better - I got the "are you sure it's not twins" comment on Sunday.

i just wish i could turn around to strangers and say that skirt makes ur ass look fat so then theyd feel how i do after their stupid comments
:yeahthat: I wish I could too. But I normally just smile & say "I'm just small so I look bigger than average but I'm not really". Needless to say, the lady that said that to me on sunday was a saleswoman but she won't be getting my money

Lol, I was just looking at your FB pic too & thinking how envious I was, you look absolutely gorgeous, all belly, and like PZ said very elegant looking.

It probably looks bigger because you are slim, if you put a belly that size on me you'd never even notice

Don't let anyone tell you you're going to have a big baby. What would they know? Nothing, that's what!

I was big to start with my 1st preg anyway, put on 5kg but had a HUUGGGEEE bump by the end of it...pointy and stretchmarked to hell and back..even the Drs were telling me I'd give birth to gigantor....not so. She was a normal 8lb 2ounces.

Don't let them get you down!

Bite back if you have to...I didn't with my first pregnancy and this time I figure I was too nice last time! Strangers have no right to comment on the size of your stomach!

I couldn't view the photo but I can sympathize as I got the same comments. I got comments like "are you sure you're only having one", "are you sure your dates are right", "woa you're huge", "Hey fatty".
I found it really offensive, I was 58kgs before I got Preg, bub is 3 1/2 weeks & I'm nearly back to my before baby size and bub was 7pound 6ounces, ppl just love to comment! Next time someone says you're big say oh thankyou hehe I did this & had a few ppl trying to backtrack. My Bro called me fatty and I responded with at least I have an excuse. Couldn't see your photo but I'm sure you look beautiful!

Telling a woman how big she looks when she's pregnant is never the right thing to say. We have a friend who makes comments like this. He told me the other day how big I looked (and I'm the smallest I've been out of all the pregnancies) and then he asked me recently if I've had any cravings, and I said, oh, not really - mostly fresh fruit. He goes to me, "You're weird!" Oh, because obviously everything you see in the movies about women wanting to eat gherkin icecream speaks for everyone else's experiences, right? He also couldn't understand why I didn't want to go to a hospital to give birth...

It drives me crazy, because I know he has no idea - they've no children and he just doesn't have any experience with pregancy or or birth or newborns, but still. I'm biting my tongue.

    FOR NOW.

you look great - I don't know what "people" are on ... I think people forget how pregnant women look, and then get surprised, because it *is* so amazing to see, and so different to the way we look otherwise.

but it's not fair people people to then turn that into a negative - it isn't.

let me say it again though - You. Look. Great.

    Your bump looks great!
I get huge during pg and know all to well how absentminded and meaningless comments feel when your pg. My first pg i put on 22kgs but a week after having my daughter i was only 5kgs heavier (she was 8lb15). This time i have put on 10kgs so far (35+3) but it's all out front. I'm so sick of people asking if it's twins. My doc said next time someone asks this to say "it's actually 5 babies and we aren't sure if they are all going to make it"- a sure fire way to shut people up! lol

    I love your BUMP!

Bugger them all, I think you look beautiful..

And you can always say (when people say Oh your huge!) "I know right?! Thats because i haven't gained much weight during pregnancy and on my slender frame it protrudes a bit more, Your soo lucky you don't have that problem"

Hopefully they are too dense to get it, but you will know! lol

naww you look lovely! People and their stupid comments! I was so big when i was preggers, all belly. I was 29weeks and we had stopped to get a drink on the drive home, and the lady that served us commented on my belly, saying "wow you must be nearly due", i said no, still have 11 weeks to go, so then she said "ohh so your having twins?" stupid woman, i just walked out and started crying!

I got to the stage of saying to strangers when they would ask how long i had, i would just look at them and say i wasnt even preggers, that would shut them up!

Dont let them get to ya
