irregular Period after breast feeding

Hi, is it normal for my period not to be regular after breast feeding

Had my son 18 weeks ago and stopped breast feeding 6 weeks ago, i had a period on the 9th sept and i havnt had one since .. Im stressing i might be pregnant again....

Oh meegm, are you using any contraception? Are you trying for another baby at present? What was your cycle like before Lee arrived? I've heard your cycle can be all over the place after bf so you might me ok - but would be worth testing perhaps anyway if you're feeling stressed.

No no contraception yet - wanted to have 1 normal cycle the start the pill....my normal cycle was 29 days .. did a test this morning and was neg so hopefully it stays that way.... Def not trying for a baby now god help me then id have a 1 year old and a new born.. hard enough with just 1 let alone 2 babies...

By the way love your sons name - a DP wants our next to be called Angus (if its a boy) ...

Our little Angus is a lovely boy, so I'm sure that if you end up having one too, he'll also be lovley! Relle also has an Angus, so does someone else................
