Hi all, last week when I was 31 weeks I went into the maternity unit due to reduced movements. I had ctg monitoring and everything was fine. My ob then sent me for a scan to check on her and all stats were good. The next 2 days she was still fairly quiet so was booked in for an OB appointment on the friday. By Thursday she was moving ok again, and then wouldn't stop moving at the OB appointment. Well today (32 weeks) she has decided to play up again. She didn't move for 3 hrs and no amount of prodding whilst I was at my US appointment would get her to move, we had to wait 30mins for her to give us what we needed. They couldn't see all of the placenta because she was in the way, however the cord pulse was fine, as was her brain pulse rate and heart rate. My main query is, what do I do? Really if she keeps this up I will be calling the maternity unit again, however what does this all mean when her heart rate is fine? Do I ask for a non-stress test? What is that anyway? All help greatly appreciated.
