Could be worth the extra expense if you are going to BF after bub is born as I found the maternity bras I wore in the last few months also served me all the way through till DS weaned at 11 months as I bought really good ones (just tried to see the brand but I've forgotten and the tag has worn off!) from Myer and a specialty bra shop. I was a 12D and went up to a 14E by the time I was 7 months pregnant. Sadly they have not really been the same since!
Everyones breasts do different things during pregnancy so I can't say when yours will stop growing. Mine didn't really get any larger after about 20 weeks until my milk came in. Hopefully you will stay where you are for the next few months.
I found that the DFO and Trade Secret have good brand maternity bras for good prices. I don't know where you are so don't know if that helps. Also some of the really firm sport crop tops are good when pregnant as you don't need the clip straps yet. Just normal soft cup bras can be much cheaper than maternity bras too so might be an option before bub is born.
I wore my E cup bras right through being an F and then when I was a G cup after my milk came in and they were fine. As long as they are the nanna style ones that you can't really spill out of... the super firm fit felt good on super engorged boobs too. I did have to get a couple of new E cup bras after my boobs settled again though as the original ones were stretched, but I had gotten about 6 months wear out of them by then. I have mostly lovable bras as they are quite generous in their sizing and fairly affordable.
Everyones body does different things, and from personal experience I can say being fitted in early pregnancy properly by someone experienced doesnt necessarily mean the bras will fit later on and after your milk comes in. I went up 5 cup sizes and my sis only went up 1.
I started out in a 12C before pg, a 14E eventually during (or 16DD), and ended up being a 12G after my milk came in. Its not only your bust that increases during pg its around your chest are you belly comes out.
I only bought a couple of cheap bras on sale while I was pg, sometimes not even maternity if I found wireless cheap enough, and even a sports bra that fitted well. I found the cotton bras like the Bonds bumps fitted better for multiple sizes because of the stretch and shape of them. After my milk came in I did have to resort to getting bras fitted from a local maternity shop.
