Meadow Lea margarine - with vitamin A - is it safe?

I usually buy a different brand of butter/margarine. But recently I bought a big tub of meadow lea margarine. Later I noticed it had vitamin A in it. I am just wondering if this is safe? There is absolutely NO warning to pregnant women on the label. And the serving size says 13% of daily recommendation. I just wanted to be sure its ok. I already had some on sandwiches and in mashed potato.

    Hi CathyS
Yes your margarine is safe in pregnancy. There are 2 types of Vitamin A, one derived from animals and one from vegies, The one from vegies is safe. As margarine is usually made from vegie oil then it should be fine.

Thanks for that! It's good to know. There are just so many added vitamins in things these days.
