I got some tickets from Priceline.

I didn't think I was going to get there as I have a busy day tomorrow with a MCHN visit right in the middle of the day so that pretty much prevents me from going and I was meant to be going away for the weekend but that has been cancelled so I can go now! yay!

(not that anyone needed to hear that story )

Back from expo and it sucked!!!!

No freebies/samples really, and no fantastic specials!!!!!!

Parking sucked museuem parking all full!!! In the end I was better off as car park in lygon was $9 and not $14.

Fisher price had toys etc on special but you couldn't have today was a order now and free delivery to you in 7 - 21 days!!!!!!!!!!

The massive line for lunch was crazy and very little amount of seats to sit and BF.

Was spaced out better than other expo though!

I actually agree with all of that. including the good bit about there being a bit more space for manouvarability. but overall, i think the PB Expo is heaps better. especially in terms of sample packs and choice of providers. that said, the Tizzy Hall lecture did scare me...so maybe i was put off lol.

i did buy a cushie tushie couture nappy and had a good chat with the maternity coalition girls... but other than that i was a bit disappointed. mostly stuff for clothing wise or big nursery items. the prams were also a bit boring (and i love prams!). and they only had 2 examples of double prams in the whole place (one of which was the bog standard maclaren).

soooo glad that i got a free ticket!

I personally loved it and got heaps of freebies and truely enjoyed it.

I didn't like the layout of it though didn't flow very well,

I had free tickets. I parked at the museum even though it said full .. i know people leave and come all the time.. cost me 9$

over all I had a fun day and loved looking around.

no, no ICandy, BUT they did have the very cool Taga bike/pram. we are considering getting the box version for when the new bubba is old enough to sit up.

I agree feeb I thought it sucked too. Wasted my money, DH said 'I should have just taken you for a walk around Baby Bunting and it would have been the same thing' lol.

We thought it was really productive. We got there early Saturday (before doors opened) and left 3 hours later when the aisles were becoming grid-locked with prams. We did a quick tour aisle by aisle, discovered some new products & entered loads of competitions. We saw a cool Silver Cross pram that DH loved, so we ended up at Baby Gallery Sunday and lay-byed one (with a bunch of other stuff). We also got some cloth nappies, a compact changing mat/bag and a tummy shield cushion for the car.

We then got caght in hail on the way home after lunch in Carlton, but that's another story.
