Mildly enlarged kidney, should I be worried

After seeing Dr this morning he went through the report from the 19 week scan and everything is great although one of bumps kidney's is mildly enlarged. It measured 4.5mm and the other one measure 3.6mm. Dr says he is not worried and 9 out of 10 times this is nothing to worry about. We are going for another scan at 3 weeks to have another look at it then. But he was very good at comforting me in saying that its not likely to become anything to worry about. I guess I just wanted to know what could happen to bump if it doesn't clear up.
Has anyone else had this on their report?

Hey hun,

It scared the bejeepers out of you doesn't it? Oscar was found to have the same thing at our 20wk scan and they did another U/S at 32 weeks to check it again. Please try not to worry hun, as your Dr said.. 9 times out of 10 there is nothing to worry about and it sorts itself out.

Oscar was fine at the 32 week U/S which was a relief. They said that "if" nothing had changed they just would have done a quick U/S once he was born to check it again. As the kidney is only measuring 4.5mm it shouldn't be anything to worry about hun.

I have no other advice for you but I hope I maybe helped somewhat!!
