I needed them for a couple of weeks with DS1 as he had a tongue-tie, but once that was snipped we didn't need them anymore. They can be a useful tool, but most of the time they are not necessary. I wouldn't even be thinking about them yet. Give yourself a chance to get the hang of bfing.
