    Actually as the FISH test is only 99.7% reliable and waiting the extra 10 days gives you 100% Medicare will not pay anything towards the test. Thats why we have to pay for it even when it is done in a public hosptial. Sorry.

    Ahh sorry, I claimed so much with DD1 that I didn't realise that I didn't get anything back for this, as I said we didn't opt for it this time around.

    Aussiegirl - wanted to wish you much luck with your procedure and results. I have not made it far along enough to get to the amnio/CVS option, but I hope I will get there (and I will definitely be having one as I'm "old" and both my m/c have been due to trisomies).
