At this late stage in the game, I can't see any potential problems at all It's one of those 'no absolute evidence' ones where it's up to mum to make the choice based on her own level of concern. I avoided dyeing my hair during the first trimester JIC, but after that it was open season and I had no issues whatsoever. If your sense of smell has heightened during pregnancy due to the hormones, you may want to make sure you're in a VERY well-ventilated area as the fumes affected me more during pregnancy, but it was no biggie, just had to do my hairline in front of the bathroom mirror then move to the living room to do the rest
Enjoy having your 'do back
I always had my hair done while pregnant - the only thing is that sometimes your skin can react differntly to chemicals than it usually does so it is a good idea to do a skin test before putting the dye on your hair just in case.
I say go for it, i would. Coming from the hairdressing opinion, i would just be concerned about how it might react when it hits your scalp. As Nai said, a skin test is best first
I died my hair throughout both of my pregnancies. Perfectly fine. Im told the only reason a hair dresser may not is because your skin is more sensitive in pregnancy and you may get a reaction. Nothing at all to do with harming bubs.
Apparently (and not always the case) the dye may not take to your hair during pregnancy because of the hormonal change. Not sure on how much truth there is to it.
I personally wouldn't be putting a permanent colour through my hair when pregnant, but would do a wash out one. But that's just me, no particular reason to it lol
